We use ON24 are our webinar platform. We host webinars mostly for our customers to educate them in on (new) features and functionalities in our Software. But at the same time we also host webinars aimed at potential customers to help with brand awareness and lead generations. ON24 helps us to make customers better informed about our product and gain leads for sales to follow up on.
  • Audience console that you can design completely to your organizations brand
  • A lot of engagement options during webinars, both live and on demand
  • A lot of data to report on and that we use for follow up
  • Integration with Hubspot that helps us with the automation AFTER a webinar
  • Dutch is not supported yet as a language for On Demand captioning
  • More flexibility on registration pages
  • Easier integration options for Hubspot. The integration it pretty complex and not that out of the box
I think ON24 is very well suited for when you are a global operating organization and wanting to host webinars. It is really easy to schedule a webinar in different time zones. Next to that it's easy to create simulive webinar in order to make webinar available around the world

I do think that ON24 is a little on the pricier side which might make the tool a little too expensive for smaller organizations.

Our firm uses ON24 primarily for client webinars, that include Continuing Legal Education Courses, and Marketing/Customer Engagement Purposes.
Some of the business problems ON24 addresses for our firm is the ability to reach a wide range of our clients in a timely manner when we need to share information based on legislative updates, new regulation, etc.

ON24 works great for a 4 part webinar series we host every fall that is a annual legal update that allows us to reach a slew of clients that we would otherwise not. (if we conducted the same in person). We typically see 300+ attendees per webinar in this series.

One component we focus on for some events is networking, the virtual break out rooms are a good add on when hosting but it does not replace the face to face component of networking. The ON24 ones are also more formal that a zoom breakout for instance, as ON24 is completely different experience than a Zoom webinar anyway.

On24 allows us to offer better engagement for our audience, and to track leads' interest in our company better. It is also easier for us to run webinar on On24 than it was on Zoom, as it is more automated.

We have been using On24 for consumer-facing webinars as we are a B-2-C business and I find that it works very well. I know that many other companies also use this for B-2-B marketing, and I could imagine that it would work well in those scenarios as well. We use On24 for everything from the first contact with a lead to converting an existing lead to a client.

We use ON24 to produce sponsored webinars in cooperation with our advertising partners. To a lesser extent, we also use it for editorial webinars.
  • Being able to customize the branding of the webinar console is unsurpassed
  • Reporting is stronger than most webinar platforms, although a bit buggy in spots. Their legacy reporting interface was a lot more user-friendly than their current interface. You can still access legacy reports, and that's how we pull all of our data.
  • Event setup is easy once you get the hang of it, although a bit limited in spots.
  • Slides-and-audio webinars work flawlessly, but ON24 is still trying to catch up to other vendors when it comes to video. The interface is buggy, connection issues occur with 10-15% of our presenters (even when they're using the ON24-recommended web browser and configuration), and there is no native support for backgrounds like you find in Zoom and other platforms.
  • The new Elite Studio interface took a step forward in some areas, but a step backward in others. They took away the ability for presenters to mark audience questions as high, medium, or low. Other aspects of the UI are just broken—like sometimes the Q&A pane disappears completely for presenters. Months after reporting the bugs, they still exist. ON24 has provided workarounds for some issues but hasn't fixed many of these underlying bugs.
  • For video events, there's no way to spotlight individual speakers. If you have a presenter who doesn't need to be on camera for the entire event, they appear as an ugly black block for most of the event, with no way for the producer to get rid of it. The voice recognition is not great, which often leads to an awkward 3-5 seconds where one presenter is on screen but another one is speaking.
  • There's a learning curve for new presenters. Doing rehearsals with the software in advance is a must, and explaining all of the controls in a live 30-minute walk-through is necessary. It's not as intuitive as a platform like Zoom or GoToWebinar. There are lots of things that need to be explained to new presenters.
I have been using ON24 for nearly two decades, and the software has evolved dramatically over time. Whenever a new major release has come out, it's always been two steps forward and two steps back. They improve certain aspects of the platform but make others harder to use or less flexible. ON24 is great for a company with a dedicated event manager who can own the entire process—setting up events, running rehearsals, and providing guidance to new presenters. But for an organization where you don't have this level of resources, I could see ON24 being too difficult to manage. Also: Deep pockets are a must because ON24 charges by the event (unlike other platforms such as Zoom and GoToWebinar that are subscription-based). ON24 charges extra for connecting other systems to their API, and there are lots of other "extras" that make the cost add up quickly.

ON24 is one of the best and easiest platform to use for webinars. I used to use Zoom or Webex and it did not have the same capabilities, and brough it a lot more tech issues. I like that in ON24 if you accidently exit out of the webinar, it doesn't mean the webinar ends, unlike in other platforms. If there are tech problems, its also great to be able to call in. The interface is easy to use and easy for presenters and producers to navigate. I like that the webinars automatically record, you don't have to press an extra button to record which is one less thing to worry about. Unlike other platforms where you'd have to remember to do that. Customer service is also great, always willing to help. Service is quick

ON24 allowed our Digital Customer Success program managers to effectively present product specific and thought leadership content to our customers to improve engagement, adoption, and surface opportunities in the moments that matter. We needed a solution that would seamlessly let us present on-demand and live content to our customers with tools that would allow customers to engage with the material being presented. Additionally, we needed effective reporting to understand customer sentiment in addition to registration and attendance.

  • Use surveys to gather feedback and understand audience interest and intent with flexible question configurations.
  • Unless you had a primary user license, notifying the support team of an issue during a webinar was difficult.
  • Recording audio slide to slide for on-demand webinars was sometimes wonky.
ON24 allowed us to present on-demand or live webinars. Additionally, we could pre-record content and set it up as simu-live which allowed us to more easily interact with the audience's questions. There was also a Sim-2-live feature, which allowed you to play pre-recorded content and would then move you to live audio to give you the opportunity to take questions live. This piece did not allow for us to turn on video so we could be more personable with our audience. This is great if you want a panel discussion, set up a produced video slide presentation, or simply use slides. We only had the webcast elite version, which did not allow us to turn on a feature to allow for our audience to participate vocally. We had to encourage audience members to use the live audience chat which everyone in the audience could see, or share comments questions via the Q&A.

We are using ON24 on daily basis. For external use this would include to generate new opportunities through webinars, provide customer update sessions and workshop via their Forum platform. B2B we are doing something around 150 virtual events a year, ON24 helps us to manage the content before and after the events by using their Engagement Hubs for On-Demand videos.

Internally we are using ON24 to stream to our employees worldwide.

I am leading the webinar organisations (promotions, setup, monitoring) for EMEA region. After 3 years experience, I am very familiar with the platform. We organised more than 200 customer focused webinars since we started only for our company. It is very easy to set up a webinar, create the registration page and front console. ON24 made some updates to their engagement tools, and they are very useful. Also, connecting via webcam to prerecorded + rollover setup was the most efficient update for me.

Yet, there are still some limitations on designing the event's registration page, front console and engagement hub design. They are improving the features, but there should be more options. Also, there is no video editing option on the platform. Although there is a small issue in the recordings or presentations, we need to reupload the content. Digital events are getting more popular and competitive every day. ON24 should synchronise with other main video platforms easily to increase its visibility. Additionally, it would be great to have some AI generated tools inside of the platform. I think it will change the whole experience to increase the quality of content and usability.

Moreover, ON24 has one of the best support teams anytime when we need it. They are always friendly and responsive. I would like to work with ON24 in the future, but we always need more updates on the platform to catch the fast-tracking improvements in the digital world.

We use ON24 to produce virtual events. We host events on ON24, anywhere from 30-900 people geared toward government training. We offer events on a variety of technology and management topics. We utilize the engagement features on the platform (open chat, polling, Q&A, etc.). ON24 helps us get content and training opportunities out to government employees to further their education.

Apart from the allowance of entity registrations, users, certification, we believe ON24 is leading the industry for these type of solutions and being a new styled entity that's starting will make our use case study into a modeled product to be issued to all other type MFO's whom are start ups and lack the basic Regulatory certs within the sectoral market space.

It allows us to have engagement with our clients, and by engaging with them directly, we are able to address their key concerns and questions. It has also been a great platform for us to host panel discussions with stakeholders who are not based in Singapore without the need to fly them in.

We use ON24 on a quarterly basis (within my team) to run our Economics for Business Programme. It allows us to reach a wide pool of people given our audience base is wide reaching across UK (and not honed into a specific region). It also syncs up with our Marketo system making it easy for us to receive attendee updates and feedback on our events. It essentially smoothes our communication and also alleviates work that needs to be done from an events perspective. It's the virtual webinar system that we use, plus the analytics/reporting that comes with that.

We are currently using ON24 for our virtual webinars and vendor shows. We have used both Hub's and Virtual Environments with ON24 and see the benefits in using both depending on what kind of event you're looking to host. We've hosted one off sessions, webinar series and internal conferences using ON24 and have had much success.
  • Recording sessions is super easy and your library stays with you as long as you have a contract.
  • Teaching others to use the platform is relatively easy and user friendly.
  • There are are a ton of engagement tools that are useful when setting up an event.
  • It's very hard to nail down a contract with ON if you've done your research. We've made a heavy investment and when our contract was up for renewal felt like the ON24 team was not being transparent in how they got to our investment for the upcoming year.
For pre-recorded and live sessions ON24 is great. Everything automatically records so you don't have to worry about having additional recording software running on your computer. All sessions are automatically archived and available for the term of the contract which is nice.

On24 is used by 3 of our departments to deliver webcasts to our members. ON24 allows our company to provide high quality webcasts that our members enjoy. We also take advantage of the E Hub which provides us the ability to offer mini conferences to customers. We get access to analytics immediately after events.

ON24 is used by our Marketing Department to host webinars for both customers and prospective customers. Our team uses it as a way to communicate with customers about their current products and help to drive health + adoption. The Growth Marketing team uses it as a way to host webinars for prospects to hopefully drive new interest in our company.
  • It has a great integration with Marketo which makes it easy to automate events.
  • It's easy to clone events and import content from previous events to a new one.
  • Very great CSM team!
  • The interface is not intuitive to use! It's taken a while to learn how to do basic things, and it's very easy to make mistakes.
  • The software is buggy - there have been a few times where it's totally down for even more than a day at a time. We also often get complaints from viewers during webinars that they can't hear us or the picture is blurry.
  • No matter you how upload your content, it comes out blurry.
ON24 is great for helping you automate processes, particularly if you use Marketo. The Marketo/ON24 integration allows you automatically import attendee/no-show data to send emails. This is helpful when passing attendance data to Salesforce as well. I also appreciate that ON24 makes it easy to replay webcasts. ON24 has a lot of little technical bug issues that make it not always the most reliable. For instance, we often hear from viewers that the slides/video is blurry when we're meeting all of ON24's recommendations/requirements. We've also had issues with screen sharing, and it was not always going through for all viewers. I'm not sure if other webcast platforms have similar issues, but it's definitely a challenge with ON24.

I use ON24 differently than many of you. I interview authors about their books. This is a great way to interact with our audience. There is no funnel-like in a bigger sales plan. This is just a great way to let people hear a bit about the book directly from the author. I also take the opportunity to let the audience know about other books, webinars, and OSV products.

We utilize ON24 to produce live and on-demand webinars for our members, predominantly as a way to provide CPD learning material, enhance our product value and therefore increase customer loyalty and retention. The platform enables us to be creative with our content and reflects our market-leading status with the various branding options. We are moving to a digital-first strategy in terms of customer engagement and events. Previously we were delivering award-winning physical events, so we need our digital events to-rated just as highly.
  • Branding and customization of the look of the platform and emails.
  • Ability to issue CPD certificates and control when they are issued e.g have to attend for a certain time, complete a test, etc.
  • User-friendly 'studio' for presenters and producers.
  • I would love to see some 'hints and tips' that automatically pop up for a user on different areas of the screen the first time they use the platform e.g showing how to resize a tool, and how to make a tool appear.
  • They need to find an easier way for 1 person to register multiple people for the same webinar - having to delete cookies every time is not very user-friendly.
  • I would love to see the highlighting of engagement tools be shown on a phone as well as a laptop/PC.
  • I would love to be able to unmute a member of the audience when required.
ON24 works well for customer engagement and for demonstrating the WOW factor for the audience. It does not work as well for when you want to be able to have a bit more of a 2-way conversation. It would be great to be able to unmute members of the audience when required.

I've used ON24 as an attendee and from what I've experienced so far it is a well-put-together service. It keeps the buzz and excitement element of attending an in-person event but through a virtual experience. I wish every virtual event was put together through ON24, and if I saw other events being hosted by them that I was interested in I would be more to attend.

Our Field Sales teams were unable to engage in person with our potential Medicare health plan members. Our marketing team had to react quickly and ON24 was the company that fit the bill for being able to provide a tool where our field sales teams could engage with potential members. ON24 is such an excellent tool. The team was able to use the analytics to track engagement. While we began with enrollment seminars, we ended up scaling our webinars into other areas to put our field sales teams out in front of potential health plan members.

  • Our team likes that ON24 is very self-service-oriented, there are some situations that don't fit into the self-service and sometimes require a conversation with a live person (not a chatbot) - would be great if there was a help desk type of contact.
ON24 is THE best webinar experience company. They offer so many webinars that provide guidance and assistance. Because of these many offerings, the team has been able to really "up their game" in terms of the experience we are offering our salespeople and how they are pulling beneficiaries in. Our sales team has realized an abundance of enrollments due to the ON24 platform. ON24 has a very robust library of information. 99.9% of the time, the team is able to find the answer he/she needs when they come up against an obstacle. ON24 also integrates flawlessly with our CRM system. They are a tremendous partner and we are so grateful for such an amazing platform!

We use it for all internal and external meetings. In a time when most events became virtual, we were really able to use ON24 over the last two years to provide successful events in a time we could not meet in person. All of the updates and changes have been very beneficial.

We use it to host virtual events, both for potential clients and current customers. They vary from informational sessions to sales pitches, and fund events. It is used across Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, and Customer Experience teams. We were able to host virtual city visits during the pandemic which helped keep our customers engaged when they couldn't travel.

If you need to engage customers or potential clients in a larger scale event, this is much easier to use and run than a Zoom webinar or a Teams webinar. Much easier for the end-user to register and they don't need an app or an account to join. Very user-friendly.

ON24 is largely used within the organization, both internally and outside the company. It used for training Sales about our products and solutions. It also used outside the company to reach out to our prospects and educate them about our offering along with our existing customers to make sure we keep them updated about the new solutions that we're bringing to the market. It allows the company to have a very engaging and dynamic way of communicating and sharing knowledge with a large range of people at the same time. It is a very powerful tool and also flexible.
  • It allows us to share thought leadership with our audience, bringing them up to speed with the best practices and the challenges we;'re solving for them
  • It allows us to train our Sales people about our new range of products and solutions
  • Powerful tool to use and very engaging, as it is easy to consume both live and on-demand
  • Time selection feature is not friendly at all.
  • Eloqua integration can be complicated, especially when using a widget like Resources that is hard to integrate to Eloqua. That needs to be adjusted, or best practices need to be shared with Eloqua users of ON24.
It is well suited for all the stages of the buyer's journey but less appropriate for doing a demo. It is easy to work with, but can be challenging when it comes to editing the recording.

I think ON24 is an amazing platform for full-scale productions that can be planned in advance. Last-minute less than 48-hour meetings can't really be done well with ON24. Having support that can change things on the fly seems to be better for quick last-minute presentations. Typically no one wants to make last-minute changes but with ON24 it's really difficult.

ON24 is our primary webinar platform that we use to deliver webinars to our customers and prospects. These webinars can be through leadership or product focused and are typically between 30 minutes to 1 hour in length. We build the webinar from scratch in ON24 and it integrates with our other internal software/systems internally.
  • Great user experience - customisable user console is great
  • Easy to use - new team members/presenters get up to speed with it very quickly
  • Interactivity is great - polls and surveys
  • Archiving on demand takes a long time
  • Doesn't facilitate two-way discussion
  • Different registration page options would be useful
ON24 has been my favourite webinar tool, and I've used many over the years. It delivers a great customer experience as the UI is user-friendly and it's very interactive with polls/surveys. The console builder makes it extremely easy to set up and run webinars, and it's been easy for new team members to begin using it. We've found support to be quick and responsive when needed too.
